HELLSCAPE: A World Ablaze
- 1990: Saddam Hussein al-Tikriti invades the Kingdom of Kuwait. President Michael Dukakis heeds the words of April Glaspie, who says 'This is an Arab problem. We need to allow the Arabs to deal with it.'.
- 1992: The United Nations forms a coalition to deal with Hussein, who has now moved into Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Qatar, Oman and Yemen pledge support for Hussein's new 'Persian-Arabic Empire'. Both Israel and Saudi Arabia are threatened. At the head of the UN coalitions is Germany. Operation Wüstensturm is born.
- 1995: The United States, after having been drawn into Operation Wüstensturm by the UN, is left with the larger part of the conflict. The war becomes extremely unpopular as thousands of American service people die in this theatre of conflict.

Please Note: This game will contain significant spoilers for Hellscape: The Fifth Horseman, the novel upon which it is based.
This game is a little different than others found on this site. Character death is a distinct possibility. It is strongly advised that you have more than one character so you do not find yourself cut out of the action as your new creation attempts to join the main group. Thematically, Hellscape: A World Ablaze is post-apocalyptic horror. Do not expect things to be pretty. Few people will start the game with metanormal abilities—if you want to do so, the tradeoff is that I choose them for you. There will be points in gameplay in which events accelerate rapidly, and there may also be skips forward in time. Because of this, please do not join if you cannot commit to at least two posts per week.

In modern day New York, someone is killed. Who was killed? How were they killed? Who was the killer?
You, the player, decides. In this modern Rp up to five players will attempt to solve the crime; detectives, csi's, and undercover operatives.But one of those characters is the killer, and they must hide their tracks as they go. This game happens in two phases, in the first phase the players describe their characters in both a private and a public bio. I'll randomly select one of those characters as the killer, and they must present as in-depth and in-character a kill scenario as possible.
Then in phase two all the characters must attempt to solve the murder, as they uncover clues and get closer and closer to the answer, I'll flesh out the world around them, and the killer must try to cover their tracks, and evade detection and capture.
This game is not for the faint of heart, it is for the cunning, and the brave.
